About the Author
Michael LaVoice wanted to be a Marine but served in the US Army just in time for the first Gulf War. He was the fifth generator mechanic assigned to a Hawk Air Defense Artillery unit slated for three, and the other one was already the mail clerk. This means he spent more time playing soldier than wrenching on generators, which was probably best for the generators, and more fun for Michael.
He has been writing since he was in grade school, trying his hand at various genres and formats, but always returning to his first loves, military science fiction and fantasy.
He is a fan of Techno-Industrial music, space navy battles, futuristic armored combat stories, and Space Opera in general.
He lives in west Tennessee with his wife, two out of seven kids, a mackerel tabby with delusions of grandeur, a Chocolate-Lab/Chow mix that got all the Lab friendly and all the Chow fluffy, and a German Shepherd puppy that keeps everyone on their toes.
He collects sharp and pointy things from Museum Replicas and probably too many starship models and action figures. As if there was such a thing as too many of those.
